Thank you to all those who have shown support for the project thus far. I would like to say, that this is a solo project and I do not have the full luxury of time to test everything, so there may be regressions. When any bugs are reported, I make it a priority to try and get them repaired the next update.

The new database also has changed in its internal format. Old custom sheets should port over fine, but if there are any errors with them, please report and send the sheet file.


List of new features/improvements:

  • The database has been updated to include more recent enemies.
  •  Damage rolls can now be activated through a click, just like d20 rolls.
  •  D20 rolls (and the newly added damage rolls) have descriptors for what was just rolled.
  •  Custom rolling interface has been added.
  •  Stutter when creating/modifying enemies is drastically reduced.
  •  Enemies can now be filtered by source, and custom sources can be added.
  •  Abilities can now be action-less.
  •  Extra save notes feature (e.g. dragons having +1 to all magic effects listed).
  •  Party level and player count are now saved in encounter files.
  •  Enemies in combat can now be reordered.
  •  Improvements to trait filtering layout.
  •  Improvements to enemy creator layout.
  •  Rarity can now be entered manually.
  •  Multiple spellcasting entries can be used.
  •  Spellcasting entries use plain text for name rather than dropdowns.

List of bugfixes:

  •  Incorrect sheet displays (e.g. Rust Monster) now show accurate information.
  •  Traits now save properly on special abilities.
  •  Ranged strikes now always correctly display (hopefully).
  •  Size filtering now works as intended.
  •  Rarity is now preserved on customization.
  • A few sheets encased some senses in italics, which is now accounted for.
  • Fixed ranged being added to ranged strikes traits repeatedly.
  • Enemies with multiple spell lists now display correctly.
  • Errors/incorrect behavior when trying to edit enemies no longer occurs.

While this is not a concrete roadmap, here are some of the features I would like to include in the future:

  • Proper tooltips explaining traits/conditions.
  • Elite/weak/other templates.
  • Hazards.
